Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an extensive wine list that complements our culinary offerings and meets the discerning tastes of our guests.
• Provide expert recommendations and guidance to guests, assisting them in selecting wines that perfectly enhance their dining experience.
• Offer detailed descriptions and explanations of wine varietals, production techniques, and food pairings.
• Oversee wine inventory management, including procurement, storage, and stock rotation.
• Conduct regular wine training sessions for staff members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about our wine selection and capable of delivering exceptional service.
• Collaborate with the executive chef to curate wine pairing menus and assist in organizing special wine events or tastings for guests.

Qualifications:

• Certified sommelier with a recognized qualification (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine & Spirit Education Trust, etc.).
• Extensive knowledge of both Old and New World wines, including varietals, vintages, and production methods.
• Demonstrated experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment, showcasing excellent wine service skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate guests.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
