Role Responsibilities:

  • This is a hybrid role, and will require 2 days on site each week.
  • Design, develop, code, and test software systems using Java/J2EE and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver software that meets the needs of the client's customers and partners.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Write unit and integration tests for your code, working closely with the QA team to ensure software meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in the automotive and software industry. Implement innovative ideas to improve our products and processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working in a software engineering environment, ideally with a focus on developing code using Java/J2EE.
  • Bachelor's and MSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT or Engineering field.
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE and related technologies including JavaScript, Hibernate, Log4J, and Eclipse.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
  • Prior experience in an automotive environment is desirable but not essential.
