About the company:
Atlantic Talent is proud to be partnered with a dynamic tech start-up based in London. Our client operates a cutting-edge neural machine translation platform, which aims to break down linguistic barriers and facilitate seamless communication across the world. They are currently in the process of expanding operations and scaling their platform, so are on the search for a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join their data science team.
Role Responsibilities:
- This is a hybrid role, and will require 1-2 days in the London office each week.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyse large datasets to extract valuable insights and features.
- Conduct research to explore new techniques and methodologies in machine translation.
- Utilise your skills in Python to help build and manage state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers and software developers to help define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in machine learning, natural language processing, and related fields.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a Data Science environment, ideally with a focus on building and deploying machine learning solutions.
- Bachelor's and MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in software development best practices.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, and distributed computing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
- Prior experience in a start-up environment is desirable but not essential.
