Atlantic Talent is proud to be partnered with an innovative cybersecurity solutions firm based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our client is looking to strengthen their design team with a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer.
In this dynamic position, you'll become an integral part of a collaborative team comprising Product, Engineering, and UX professionals. Employing Lean UX and Double Diamond methodologies, you'll spearhead design thinking initiatives to gain a thorough understanding of user requirements across various platforms, including web, desktop, and mobile. By engaging in iterative design processes, testing, and incorporating feedback loops, you'll leverage insights gathered from both internal stakeholders and external users. Your efforts will be focused on refining UX strategies, optimizing product development workflows, and crafting design solutions to address user needs and outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the design direction of the cybersecurity platform, prioritizing empathetic and user-centered design principles.
- Manage user research using a variety of methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights that shape the design strategy.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to enhance design concepts.
- Utilize tools including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, alongside analytics platforms including PostHog, to create, test, and assess the performance of designs.
- Champion exceptional UX design standards, cultivating an environment of continuous learning and innovation among our team members.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years in UX design with foundational experience in user research.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with using design systems.
- An impressive portfolio showcasing a track record of design projects centered on user needs and informed by data analysis.
- Outstanding teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take charge of projects and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- A deep appreciation for the company's objectives and operations, alongside a firm commitment to embracing the diverse perspectives and distinct identities of our global team members, nurturing an inclusive and supportive workplace environment.
Desirable but not essential:
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Pendo, or PostHog.
- Experience in the cybersecurity sector or related fields.
- A basic understanding of HTML, React, and JavaScript.
