    Job description

    We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer looking to grow their career into a management role. The ideal candidate will have experience doing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing layouts for residential and light commercial projects in the South Florida area. We will start by integrating you into our drafting team, once you develop an understanding of the processes and systems of the company you there will be an opportunity to transition into a Team Lead Role.

    Responsibilities:
    Prepare mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts in AutoCAD.
    Prepare heat load, electrical load, and energy calculations per the Florida Building Code.
    Review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts prior to submission for permitting.
    Manage the daily workflow for our team of drafters for up to 5 new projects a week.
    Respond to city comments on permit packages in a timely manner.

    Qualifications:
    Previous experience in MEP drafting.
    Familiarity with AutoCAD, HAP, Energy USA, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
    Highly organized, self-starter, with great communication skills.
    Deadline and detail-oriented.
    EIT or PE is a plus but not required.
