About the Role

The Business Development Director will play a pivotal role in driving business growth across various service lines. This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the strategic vision of the organization. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Identify and prioritize key market opportunities for services such as warehouse leasing, built-to-suit warehouses, logistics services, and value-added solutions.
  • Revenue Generation
    • Meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets by securing new clients and expanding existing accounts.
    • Proactively lead negotiations and close high-value deals with senior stakeholders.
    • Provide accurate market intelligence and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique challenges and presenting customized solutions.
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Market Development
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify potential growth areas.
    • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance market presence.
    • Drive innovation by identifying and championing new services or business models that align with client needs.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven track record of success in business development within logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
