Job Description
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the definition, planning, and delivery of an AI-enabled procurement orchestration and sourcing platform.
This role is ideal for a commercially aware and delivery-focused product professional who can translate procurement challenges, client needs, and business workflows into clear product requirements, user journeys, prioritized backlogs, and measurable releases.
The selected candidate will work closely with founders, procurement subject matter experts, engineering, UX/UI, QA, implementation, sales, and client stakeholders to ensure the product is practical, scalable, and ready for enterprise adoption.
Role Purpose
The Product Manager will own product definition and delivery coordination by converting business strategy, market needs, procurement workflows, and technical possibilities into a clear roadmap, prioritized backlog, product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and adoption-focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership
- Define and maintain the product roadmap, release priorities, feature backlog, and product decision log.
- Translate market needs, client feedback, procurement use cases, and leadership direction into practical product initiatives.
- Prioritize features based on business value, delivery complexity, user impact, technical dependencies, and MVP readiness.
- Ensure product scope remains focused on measurable outcomes such as speed, control, supplier engagement, compliance, visibility, and adoption.
Requirements, Workflows & User Stories
- Develop clear product requirement documents, feature briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframe inputs, and release documentation.
- Define product workflows for guided intake, RFQ creation, supplier selection, approvals, response capture, comparison, award recommendation, and dashboards.
- Document edge cases, exception handling, user roles, permissions, business rules, validation logic, notifications, and audit requirements.
- Convert business requirements into delivery-ready backlog items for engineering and QA teams.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with founders, procurement SMEs, engineering, UX/UI, QA, implementation, sales, and client stakeholders to align product priorities.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, requirement workshops, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, UAT reviews, and release-readiness discussions.
- Act as the bridge between business and engineering to ensure requirements are understood, feasible, testable, and aligned with the product vision.
- Communicate product decisions, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
AI, Data & Enterprise Workflow Design
- Define AI-assisted product capabilities such as request classification, RFQ authoring, quote extraction, compliance validation, negotiation support, and recommendation summaries.
- Work with technical teams to ensure AI outputs remain explainable, auditable, confidence-scored, and governed by human approval points.
- Define reporting requirements, dashboard metrics, event data structures, supplier intelligence views, adoption KPIs, and management visibility needs.
- Support product design for enterprise requirements such as role-based access, approval controls, audit trails, data security, and integrations.
Delivery, Quality & Product Adoption
- Maintain a delivery-ready backlog with clear priorities, dependencies, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and release notes.
- Support QA, UAT, defect triage, change requests, pilot feedback, user training inputs, and post-release improvement cycles.
- Track product adoption, client feedback, support issues, feature usage, and measurable outcomes to continuously improve the product.
- Promote practical product discipline in a fast-paced product-build environment where clarity, ownership, and execution speed are critical.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or digital product delivery.
- Strong experience building or managing B2B SaaS, enterprise workflow, procurement, ERP-integrated, supply chain, logistics, fintech, marketplace, or automation platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
- MBA or product management certifications will be considered an advantage.
- Proven ability to convert business needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, release plans, and stakeholder-ready documentation.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery, product discovery, UX collaboration, backlog management, UAT, release management, and product analytics.
- Ability to work with technical teams on APIs, integrations, data models, AI workflows, security, RBAC, audit trails, and enterprise product requirements.
Required Skills
- Product roadmap ownership, prioritization, release planning, and measurable product outcome tracking.
- Strong requirement writing, user story development, process mapping, and acceptance criteria definition.
- Understanding of B2B SaaS, workflow products, dashboards, permissions, integrations, and enterprise adoption.

- Ability to define practical AI-enabled workflows such as classification, RFQ authoring, quote extraction, compliance checks, and recommendations.
- Strong understanding of data, dashboards, KPIs, supplier intelligence metrics, adoption tracking, and decision-support reporting.
- Agile execution experience, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, release notes, issue triage, UAT, and continuous product improvement.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with procurement, sourcing, RFQ, supplier portals, ERP, supply chain, logistics, workflow automation, or approval-based enterprise systems.
- Exposure to AI-enabled products, document intelligence, OCR, LLM-based workflows, automation agents, analytics dashboards, or decision-support tools.
- Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS products, role-based access models, audit trails, compliance workflows, and enterprise data security needs.
- Familiarity with email or WhatsApp-enabled workflows, supplier communication models, vendor onboarding, document submission, and operational user adoption challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced product-build environment where requirements evolve and product judgment is required to balance speed and control.

- Create or refine the product roadmap, MVP scope, release plan, backlog structure, requirement templates, and product decision log.
- Define detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for priority modules such as intake, RFQ authoring, supplier selection, approvals, quote intake, comparison, and dashboards.
- Establish working cadence with engineering, UX, QA, procurement SMEs, and leadership for sprint planning, requirement review, demos, UAT, and release management.
- Prepare the product for controlled pilot readiness by aligning workflows, test scenarios, adoption inputs, training material requirements, and KPI tracking.
