RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement a comprehensive K–12 SEL framework aligned with international standards.
- Develop age-appropriate SEL curriculum and integrate it into daily classroom practices across all subjects.
- Train teachers, academic leaders, and staff on SEL pedagogy, strategies, and classroom integration.
- Establish student well-being systems, including advisory programs, reflection circles, and mentoring structures.
- Develop and implement policies for mental health, emotional safety, and child protection.
- Create assessment tools and reporting systems to monitor student emotional and social development.
- Conduct parent workshops on emotional intelligence, child development, and SEL practices.
- Support students requiring emotional, behavioral, or social interventions, working closely with teachers and specialists.
- Collaborate with school leadership to embed SEL into the school's vision, values, and culture.
- Establish partnerships with international SEL organizations and adopt global best practices.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the effectiveness and impact of the SEL program.
- Represent the school in national and international forums related to student well-being.
- Contribute to positioning the school as a benchmark progressive school in India through SEL leadership
REQUIREMENTS
- Design and implement a comprehensive K–12 SEL framework aligned with international standards.
- Postgraduate or Doctorate in Psychology, Child Development, Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. International certification in Social-Emotional Learning, Child Psychology, or Counseling preferred.
- Foreign national with experience in international school systems (IB, CAIE, or progressive schools preferred).
- Deep understanding of CASEL framework and other global SEL standards.
- Proven experience designing and implementing whole-school SEL programs.
- Strong background in child and adolescent psychology.
- Experience conducting teacher training and parent workshops. Ability to build inclusive, trauma-informed, and psychologically safe learning environments.
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
- Skilled in designing assessment tools to measure SEL impact.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in K–12 international or progressive schools.
- Willingness to relocate to Nagpur, India and actively contribute to school culture.
