Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor in the plastics industry. In this role, you will be responsible to providing excellent customer service and build a trusted business relationship. You will engage with customers, address their inquiries and concerns, and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries via phone, email interactions.
  • Assist customers with product selection, providing information on specifications, pricing, and availability.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues, working closely with other departments to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
  • Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential sales opportunities and contribute to sales growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and industry trends to effectively address customer concerns.
  • Validate and record customer orders.
  • Analyze stocks and make material allocations.
  • Manage end-to-end customer orders (registration, review of deadlines, B / L, documentary package).
  • Keep customers informed of the status and progress of their orders.
  • Perform billing and follow-up of customer payments.
  • Analyze and deal with dysfunctions and disputes with internal and external contacts.
  • Raise the dysfunctions that cannot be managed at its level or that could impact other suppliers / customers outside its scope.
  • Participate in the management routines of his department.
  • Participate in innovation and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the plastics industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to accurately process orders and documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility while demonstrating rigor in compliance with applicable procedures.
  • Fluent German and English are essential, another language would be a plus.
