Manager - IT & MIS (System Administration)

Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining network and servers.
- Maintaining, installing, upgrading, and protecting electronic devices and computer systems, including hardware and software.
- Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software as per company objectives.
- Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
- Creating user accounts for various apps and software and performing access control.
- Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
- Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
- Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
- Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
- Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information systems, Systems Administration, or similar relevant field.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, various ERP systems, VPN, Networking, etc. (Mandatory)
- Superior knowledge of computer such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Windows features, and other software relevant to administrative responsibilities (Mandatory).
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills along with a strong command of the English language (Mandatory).
Desired Skills:
- Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
- High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with people.
- Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills.
- Positive, proactive, and able to always exercise great judgement.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment.
Minimum Experience:
· Minimum 5-10 years experience in a similar role required.
