Accounting Officer
About the job Accounting Officer
Accounting Officer supports the company by performing clerical tasks including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, updating ledger, good communications with clients and suppliers, fact checking, filing, and other accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's of Science in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in related field or industry
- Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and other Accounting tools.
- Accurate, organized , trustworthy, efficient, good bookkeeping skills, can work with minimal supervision.
- Candidate must be willing to work in Annapolis, Greenhills, San Juan City.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares journal entry to cash disbursement.
- Scanning of documents for filing (import docs; supplier docs; and others).
- Filing and safekeeping of vouchers.
- Encoding monthly transaction.
- Prepares monthly Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT).
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President.
