About the job Purchasing Officer

Purchasing Officer is responsible for purchasing materials, supplies or equipment for a business. Duties include negotiating deals with suppliers, researching possible item selections and taking inventory of current products.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent.
  • Must have at least one 1-2 years background relevant experience.
  • Hard Skills : Advance computer skills.
  • Good communication skills, leadership, decision-making, and advance computer skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Accurate, organized, keen to details, efficient, quick follow-through
  • Must be willing to work at Annapolis, Greenhills, San Juan City, NCR .

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key tasks

  • Canvassing of at least three (3) suppliers of items for purchase including the validity of the quotation, availability and warranty of the purchase.
  • Determine price validity, price changes, availability, production, warranty and delivery timeline.
  • Negotiate with supplier.
  • Issuance of Purchase Order.
  • Sending of proof of payment to suppliers and endorsement to logistics.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Manager.
