Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deep understanding of customs and Special Economic Zone regulations, this includes coordinating and overseeing the export and import processes.
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and procedures, including tariff classifications, valuation, and country of origin requirements.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation related to export and import activities, including invoices, shipping documents, licenses, and permits.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in customs regulations.
- Manage IT Inventory Systems. This includes Stock Opname activities, Materials numbers codifications, recording details of materials/goods such as Raw Material, WIP, finished goods, Auxiliary Material, Consumable Goods, Machine and Spare part
- Prepare and support monthly and quarterly reports
Job Specification
- A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00 in a relevant field such as customs administration, business administration, or a related discipline is required.
- A strong understanding of customs regulations, import/export regulations, and trade compliance is essential. This includes knowledge of tariff classifications, valuation methods, rules of origin, and customs procedures, with experience in Special Economic Zone and bonded zones preferred
- At least 2-4 years of experience in customs administration, Export/Import, logistics, or a related field is typically preferred, specifically in companies implementing Special Economic Zone and bonded zones
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified Customs Professional (CCP) is preferred
- Familiarity with INSW, IT Inventory Systems, CEISA, and TPB modules
- Strong computer skills
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- A positive attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
