Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester with 3-4 years of hands-on testing
experience. As part of our dynamic QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our
software products. You will be involved in various testing activities, including preparing test plans, executing
test cases, and identifying bugs, while collaborating with developers and other team members to deliver
high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and design comprehensive test plans to ensure functionality meets business expectations.
• Write and maintain clear, detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on product requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and resolve defects and issues found during testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that may not be covered in test cases.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely product releases.
• Review product specifications and requirements to verify their clarity and completeness.
• Report on test progress, findings, and any potential risks to the QA Manager or lead.
• Provide valuable feedback on product usability and suggest improvements.
• Ensure testing environments are properly set up, and tests are executed in a controlled manner.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologies to improve testing processes continuously.

Skills and Experience

• 3-4 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Experience in web and mobile app testing
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and various QA methodologies.
• Solid experience writing and executing detailed test cases and tracking defects.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and an understanding of working in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical skills, with great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and other stakeholders.
• Ability to perform basic SQL queries for data validation (optional but a plus).
