The Opportunity
AssetIntel is seeking a hands-on Chief Revenue Officer to build a scalable, repeatable revenue engine while preserving the customer trust and industry credibility that have made the company successful.
This is a player-coach role. You will personally lead complex public-sector SaaS opportunities while building sales process, pipeline discipline, forecasting, account expansion, and a lean commercial team.
What You Will Do
- Own revenue strategy across new-logo acquisition, expansion, renewals, and cross-sell.
- Personally lead strategic public-sector sales opportunities from relationship development through procurement, contracting, and close.
- Build a repeatable B2G SaaS sales motion, including account prioritization, pipeline stages, forecasting, CRM discipline, and close planning.
- Partner with the CEO to transition founder-led sales knowledge into repeatable messaging, discovery, demos, proposals, and sales playbooks.
- Lead RFP responses, pricing strategy, stakeholder mapping, procurement planning, and executive alignment.
- Build expansion opportunities across existing customers and AssetIntel's product portfolio, including inspectX, emergencyX, manageX, and SNBIX.
- Partner with customer success and product leadership to identify renewals, cross-sell opportunities, and referenceable customer outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and selectively grow a high-performing sales team.
What You Bring
- Proven experience selling B2G, GovTech, public-sector SaaS, or software into highly regulated enterprise environments.
- A record of personally closing complex, long-cycle software deals.
- Experience with public-sector procurement, RFPs, budget cycles, and contracting.
- Experience building or scaling a revenue function in a founder-led or growth-stage company.
- Strong player-coach orientation and willingness to sell directly.
- Experience with vertical SaaS, workflow software, infrastructure software, asset management, EAM/CMMS, public works, GIS-adjacent, or emergency-management software is highly relevant.
- Ability to sell to technical users, agency leaders, IT/security stakeholders, procurement teams, and executives.
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, and CRM discipline.
- High judgment, low ego, and comfort operating in a lean, fast-growing organization.
Preferred Experience
Experience with state DOTs, federal agencies, local agencies, FHWA-related workflows, AASHTO, NBIS, SNBI, bridge or tunnel inspection, or transportation asset management is a plus, but not required.
Location and Compensation
This is a full-time, remote U.S.-based role. Travel is expected for customer meetings, industry events, internal planning sessions, and key agency or partner meetings.
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, including base salary, performance-based incentives, and potential equity or long-term incentive participation.
