About the Role
We are seeking a relationship-driven Senior Account Executive to grow business with current clients and develop new opportunities across the transportation-infrastructure market. This person will work closely with the CRO and management team to maintain a disciplined pipeline, represent AssetIntel at industry events, and lead a consultative sales process from initial outreach through close.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with current clients, prospects, and industry partners.
- Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities through contract close.
- Support growth, expansion, and long-term satisfaction within existing client accounts.
- Maintain accurate, timely opportunity activity, forecasts, notes, and next steps in the CRM.
- Work closely with the CRO and management team on account strategy, sales priorities, pricing, and forecasting.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, client meetings, and other industry events; travel approximately 20–30%.
- Deliver product demonstrations, virtual meetings, webinars, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Develop proposals, responses, scopes, and sales materials with internal technical and delivery teams.
- Communicate customer needs, market feedback, and competitive intelligence to company leadership.
- Maintain consistent, professional follow-up and keep opportunities moving forward.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated success in consultative B2B sales, ideally involving software, technology, or implementation-focused solutions.
- Strong knowledge of—or ability to quickly learn—the bridge inspection and transportation-infrastructure market.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM tools to maintain accurate opportunity records and forecasts.
- Strong proposal-writing, presentation, webinar, and client-meeting skills.
- An established network in transportation infrastructure, public agencies, engineering, or related markets is highly valued.
- An engaging, dependable, organized, and persistent approach to relationship-building and follow-through.
- Comfort discussing technical concepts with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the CRO and cross-functional leadership.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 20–30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a DOT, transportation agency, engineering firm, or in bridge inspection.
- Engineering or other technical background.
- Familiarity with GovWin or similar public-sector opportunity platforms.
- Familiarity with practical AI/LLM tools; coding experience is not required.
- Experience selling to public agencies, engineering firms, or transportation-infrastructure organizations.
