The job that is available is a permanent full-time role as a Mechanical Engineer.  This is a replacement role in an established organisation.  You will be based in Shannon.  You are a person who enjoys working in an established organisation which is experiencing growth.

You will be office-based in this role five days per week.  There are no hybrid working arrangements available in this job.

The following list is not exhaustive.  The job will involve the following responsibilities, amongst others:

• Working on the mechanical design, development and continuous improvements of components for industrial products
• Ensure suitable materials and methods are used for the appropriate product manufacture
• Assess requirements for products by collaborating with colleagues across the organisation
• Complete feasibility studies at product design concept stage
• Document detailed files to support the design and specification process

In order to ensure you are selected for consideration for this job opportunity, you must have the following:

• Hold a third level degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Have a minimum of five years' experience in industrial product design

The salary range on offer is €40-60K per annum depending on experience.  A strong benefits package including health insurance, pension, income protection, life assurance along with 25 days annual leave is available to you from day one of employment.
