Job brief
The HR Manager is responsible for supporting the Country Head and the Service Delivery team on different aspects such as workforce staffing and general administration to optimize business results. The role will work in conjunction with the local Service Delivery Team and Learning Development & Quality Compliance Team, local/regional HR, Finance, IT and other administrative functions to enhance service capability and capacity to support business growth. This role reports to HR Director and provides HR support as business partner to Country Head.
Responsibilities
Employee Life cycle, People Management and Employee Engagement
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition and provide support for all job postings on local job sites, including conducting interviews and/ or reaching out to candidates in Korea.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes including the Company assets supply and collection.
- Manage Payroll vendor and salary payment process through providing attendance records.
- Lead employee engagement activities.
- Support work environment set up for both office space and Work from Home environment.
- Provide guidance and support on developing and delivering employee retention plans.
- Produce HR staffing metrics and dashboards to support HR processes including absence management.
- Ensures Managers are trained on all HR policies and procedures that impact them.
- Works with Regional Compensation & Benefit and HR Director APMEA to ensure proper benefit offers and administration in country.
- Advice the Country Head on creating efficiencies in a C&B budget-conscious manner.
- Will be involved in APMEA HR improvement projects periodically.
Requirements
- Degree in any discipline.
- 7+ years administrative experience required with HR Generalist experience.
- Prior experience with call center industry and/or travel industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of HR practices and principles of employment law required.
- Flexible/adaptable and able to keep up with fast paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, juggling and managing multiple projects and priorities, while maintaining a professional demeanor is required.
- Superior time-management skills along with strong sense of urgency.
- Superior level of discretion, as position requires access to highly confidential program, client and organizational matters.
- Detail oriented with focus on quality and accuracy, ability to multitask, strong sense of urgency and commitment to excellence.
- Able to thrive in a performance-based environment.
- Highly adaptable, self-motivated and self-disciplined.
