Job Summary: The HR Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This position is responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and regulations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and reference checks.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
- Conduct new employee orientations to introduce company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain employee records and documentation.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Assist in resolving conflicts and promoting a positive work culture.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and activities.
- HR Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on Philippines local employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure company compliance with policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Support employees with benefit-related inquiries and enrollments.
- Data Management:
- Maintain HR databases and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports and analytics for management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification is a plus).
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Effectively Bilingual: English and Tagalog, Mandarin is a big plus
