Job Summary: The HR Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This position is responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and regulations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Staffing:
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and reference checks.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback.
  2. Onboarding and Orientation:
    • Conduct new employee orientations to introduce company policies and procedures.
    • Prepare and maintain employee records and documentation.
    • Coordinate with various departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  3. Employee Relations:
    • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
    • Assist in resolving conflicts and promoting a positive work culture.
    • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and activities.
  4. HR Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date on Philippines local employment laws and regulations.
    • Ensure company compliance with policies and procedures.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and employee handbooks.
  5. Benefits Administration:
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
    • Support employees with benefit-related inquiries and enrollments.
  6. Data Management:
    • Maintain HR databases and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Generate HR reports and analytics for management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Effectively Bilingual: English and Tagalog, Mandarin is a big plus
