This is a junior position designed for individuals who aspire to enhance their IT skills and professional growth, with a clearly defined pathway toward a DevOps Engineer role. Requirements:
- 1+ years of proven experience in systems administration.
- Proven experience in IT systems administration (Windows, macOS) and technical support.
- Troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience in network, laptop, and software configurations.
- Experience with ticketing systems administration of third-party tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to maintain a high level of organization and accuracy in documentation.
- Good skills with prioritizing tasks and multitasking abilities.
- Eager to learn and grow in the field of DevOps and IT systems.
Would be a plus:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Bash
- Experience with Linux administration
- Experience with Azure services
Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Deliver prompt and professional technical support to internal customers, resolving IT issues effectively.
- Implementation: Aid in implementing IT solutions, including software installations, hardware setups, and network configurations.
- Troubleshooting: Proactively diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network permissions, configurations, laptop setup, Azure DevOps, and third-party tools, minimizing business operation disruptions.
- Documentation: Keep meticulous records of IT issues, resolutions, and customer interactions to ensure clarity and facilitate improvement.
- Collaboration: Partner with senior team members to support ongoing IT projects and initiatives, contributing to team goals.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest IT trends and advancements to improve service delivery and personal growth.
- Customer Relations: Forge and sustain strong relationships with internal clients, ensuring their needs are consistently met and expectations surpassed.
