Job Description: As a Warehouse Manager, your role will involve overseeing the warehouse operations and logistics associated with pipeline construction projects. You will be responsible for managing the storage, inventory, and distribution of materials and equipment required for the project.

Your duties will include coordinating with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials to the construction site.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, implementing safety protocols, and optimizing warehouse processes to support the pipeline construction project.Responsibilities:Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching materials and equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Implement efficient warehouse layout and storage systems to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access to materials.

Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and provide training to ensure smooth operations.Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, receipts, and issuances.

Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate with project teams to forecast material requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.

Implement inventory control measures, such as implementing stock rotation and reorder point systems, to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors to plan and schedule material deliveries based on project requirements.

Coordinate transportation logistics, including arranging shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, and managing customs clearance procedures.

Monitor and track material movements to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials at the construction site.

Resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during the transportation and delivery process.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, including packing lists, delivery notes, and invoices.

Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, material consumption, and warehouse performance for project management and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with documentation requirements, including permits, certificates, and quality control documentation.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, such as implementing new technologies, automation, or inventory management systems.

Streamline warehouse workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Participate in project meetings and provide input on logistics and material management aspects to support project planning and execution.Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably with experience in pipeline construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and documentation.
