Role Overview:

As the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a strategic partner responsible for managing and retaining talent by creating a positive, people-centric work environment. You will enhance the employee and stakeholder experience through the implementation of strategic, efficient, and human-centered programs, processes, and policies.


Key Responsibilities:
 

1. HR Policy & Process Management

  • Continuously review existing HR policies and processes, recommending changes or new inclusions based on market best practices.
  • Influence and shape company culture by deploying initiatives related to DEI, compensation, rewards and recognition, and performance management.
  • Program manage the implementation and review of new HR policies, processes, and initiatives.

2. Performance Management & Development

  • Conduct annual audits on performance review data and report observations to ensure a fair and consistent process.
  • Conduct new and refresher training on goal setting, the performance management process, system usage, and query handling. 

3. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage the full onboarding process, including welcoming new hires, providing office tours, and facilitating introductions to business leaders and team members.
  • Lead new hire induction sessions on company culture and values.Address and resolve queries from new joiners and employees serving their notice period.
  • Oversee the exit process, including conducting exit interviews, analyzing attrition trends, and discussing key observations with business leaders.   
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Create and conduct regular people surveys to understand employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle all employee grievances responsibly, ensuring confidentiality and a timely resolution.

5. Stakeholder Partnership

  • Collaborate with business partners on all people-related matters.
  • Analyze and discuss attrition data and general employee morale with business leaders to inform strategic interventions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • MBA in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5 to 16 years of experience in an HRBP or similar role, which must include a minimum of 3-4 years of experience working at a startup.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link HR strategy to business goals.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to drive HR initiatives from conception to completion.
