Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven, analytical, and mission-aligned Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate brings a strong technology foundation (undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, AI, or data-related fields) along with prior experience at the intersection of healthcare, product development, social impact, or public health systems in India.

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply structured thinking and a product- and scale-oriented mindset to improve health outcomes at the population level.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fund Strategy & Management

  • Conduct sector research to identify emerging opportunities at the intersection of technology, AI, digital health, and public health delivery, aligned with the fund's thesis.
  • Evaluate high-potential solutions aligned with the organisation's mission; lead due diligence across product, technology, market, financial, and impact dimensions.
  • Prepare materials for the Investment Committee and drive end-to-end funding processes.
  • Develop investment theses and contribute to the organisation's evolving perspective on health systems and future innovation frontiers.

2. Portfolio Support, Platform & Ecosystem Building

  • Work closely with founders to identify support needs and enable outcome-driven growth.
  • Identify and collaborate with partners, ecosystem actors, and subject-matter experts to support portfolio organisations.
  • Co-design and run innovation calls, field pilots, and ecosystem collaborations with government stakeholders, technical experts, and partners.
  • Engage with India's broader social impact ecosystem, including public health missions, NGOs, philanthropies, and innovation networks.

3. Organisational, Donor & Fund Support

  • Support organisation-wide initiatives, programs, and events.

  • Contribute to building the organisation's knowledge base and thought leadership.

  • Support fundraising efforts and donor management, including regular communication, reporting, and engagement.
  • Manage overall fund operations, including planning, budgeting, risk evaluation, implementation, monitoring, and impact evaluation, in coordination with internal teams and external partners as required.

Required Qualifications

Education & Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, AI/ML, Data Science, or related fields.
  • MBA or Masters degree in public health, public policy, engineering, technology, or management is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • 3–5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

  1. Health tech, digital health, medtech, or healthcare delivery

  2. Product management or product strategy (technology or health products preferred)

  3. AI/ML, engineering, computer science, or data product roles

  4. Social impact, public health programs, or development sector roles in India

  5. Impact investing, venture capital, or management consulting (good to have)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to understand and evaluate technology products and system architectures at the intersection of health and public goods.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating India's social impact or public health ecosystems.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong product thinking, with a bias toward experimentation and iteration, aligned with a mission to serve underserved communities.
