Organisation: Arthan | Social Sector | Duration: 5 months | Location: New Delhi, with a hybrid working arrangement | Stipend: 8,000-12,000 (varies based on skills and experience)

About Arthan: Arthan is a social enterprise dedicated to strengthening the social impact sector through capacity building and consulting support in the areas of: Human Capital, Organisational Development and Thought Leadership. Through its inception, Arthan has collaborated with over 1,500 leading social impact organisations, connected with more than 500,000 job seekers, and organised over 100 forums that attracted 1,000+ social leaders and over 20,000 participants.

Role Overview This is a paid role. You will work closely with the team to coordinate communications and logistics for Arthan's Annual Convening in December 2026, while also supporting broader content and outreach activities.

Key Responsibilities

Conference and Event Coordination

  • Assist in planning and executing large-scale public summits, timelines, vendor coordination, and run-of-show

  • Manage RSVPs, attendee communication, and registration logistics

  • Liaise with venue, AV, catering, and other vendors

  • Support on-ground operations on event days, managing flow and coordinating with speakers and partners

Communications and Content Support

  • Draft event-related communication- invites, reminders, thank-you notes, and post-event follow-ups

  • Write and schedule social media content and assist with real-time event coverage

  • Contribute to the content calendar with event previews, recaps, and thought pieces

  • Support basic design tasks on Canva for event collaterals

  • Support post-event communications and content development, including maintaining stakeholder engagement trackers and follow-up activities.

Research and Documentation

  • Support in compiling speaker briefs, background notes, and session summaries

  • Document key takeaways, quotes, and moments from events for future reporting

  • Maintain trackers and coordination sheets across workstreams

Design and Collateral Production

  • Design social media posts, banners, presentations, reports, brochures, and emailers

  • Create event branding assets including backdrops, stage visuals, signage, and name badges

Who We are Looking For Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Management, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. Comfortable using Canva and familiar with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms. Strong aesthetic sense with an eye for detail and clean layouts. Prior exposure to event coordination or communications (even in college) is a plus. Passionate about the social sector.

Working Arrangement

This internship offers a flexible working model. Interns are expected to work 15 hours per week between August and September 2026, with at least two days of in-person engagement from our Delhi office each week. As preparations for Arthan's Annual Convening intensify, the expected time commitment will gradually increase from September onwards to around 25–30 hours a week, with 3 days in office. We'll discuss and agree on the revised schedule with the selected candidate in advance, and there's room to work this out flexibly.
