Executive Director- Strategy, Operations and Fund Raising- Think Tank

An Executive Director is the highest-ranking operational leader reporting to the CEO in this organization- a global not for profit focused on research, policies, civil rights and justice. 

• Strategic Leadership: Partner with the board to create and execute long-term goals, mission objectives, and strategic plans.
• Board Relations: Serve as an advisor to the board, attend meetings, report on organisational health, and support board development.
• Operations & Management: Oversee day-to-day activities, program development, and facility or project management.
• Financial Oversight: Manage annual budgets, monitor cash flow, ensure proper accounting, and maintain fiscal compliance.
• Fundraising & Donor Relations: Lead fundraising strategies, write/oversee grants, and cultivate relationships with donors and stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Hire, supervise, mentor, and evaluate senior staff and department heads.
• External Communications: Act as the primary public spokesperson, media contact, and community advocate for the organization.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
