Role Summary:
The Manager- People Operations will play a critical role in shaping the organization's people and culture strategy as the organization enters its next phase of growth. The role demands a dynamic professional who combines analytical rigor with an organizational and people-centric mindset. This individual will lead the end-to-end HR function covering talent acquisition, performance management, organizational culture, compliance, and learning & development while ensuring that the organization remains an inspiring and equitable workplace.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and processes that support the organization's strategic goals.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with organizational vision, culture, and growth trajectory.
- Drive initiatives to enhance organizational culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters.
2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding:
- Lead the full recruitment cycle.
- Develop creative hiring strategies to attract top talent.
- Build their employer brand.
- Ensure candidate experience reflects the organization's culture of professionalism and empathy.
3. Learning, Performance & Development
- Design and oversee a structured performance management system that emphasizes continuous feedback and growth.
- Identify learning needs and coordinate internal/external training programs.
- Build career progression frameworks and mentorship opportunities.
- Champion a feedback culture that promotes accountability and collaboration.
4. HR Operations & Compliance:
- Manage HR operations including onboarding, payroll coordination, leave management, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, PoSH, and organizational safeguarding policies.
- Liaise with finance, legal, and operations teams for smooth coordination on HR-linked compliance and audits.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and data systems (Zoho).
5. Employee Engagement & Well-being:
- Design and execute employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Implement policies that foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
- Manage grievance redressal and employee relations with sensitivity and fairness.
- Lead organizational surveys and action plans based on feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of relevant HR experience.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices across recruitment, performance, and L&D.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and operate in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
- Empathy, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
