Position overview:
As the Women's Agency Program Lead within the Women Empowerment Portfolio, take a leadership role in designing and implementing programs that enhance the agency of women at the household, community, and governance levels.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the implementation of programs focused on enhancing women's agency within the Women Empowerment Portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and address the unique challenges faced by women in different contexts.
- Design and execute workshops and training sessions to build the leadership and advocacy skills of women participants.
- Establish partnerships with external organizations and experts to bring diverse perspectives and resources to women's agency programs.
- Lead the coordination of community-level initiatives to promote women's participation in decision-making processes.
- Advocate for policy changes that support and strengthen women's agency in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of women's agency programs, gathering insights for continuous improvement.
Personal Qualifications and experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing programs focused on women's empowerment.
- Proven track record of successful leadership in women's agency initiatives.
- Demonstrated positive shifts in women's agency at the household, community, and governance levels.
- Comprehensive understanding and addressing of the unique challenges faced by women in different contexts.
- Enhanced leadership and advocacy skills among women participants through effective workshops and training sessions.
- Successful establishment of partnerships with external organizations and experts.
- Impactful community-level initiatives promoting women's participation in decision-making processes.
- Advocacy efforts leading to policy changes that support and strengthen women's agency.
