Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic and analytical HR professional to join our Organizational Development (OD) team as an Assistant Manager. This role is ideal for someone who brings a solid foundation in HR generalist functions and is passionate about leveraging data, research, and diagnostics to enable organization-wide development interventions. You will support and co-lead organization audits, employee experience assessments, capability building programs, and change initiatives.


Team Overview

The position will get the chance to work with a team consisting of a diverse mix of professionals with varied skill sets and competencies relevant to the impact sector. The team brings substantial experience working with multiple national and international organizations. We are a multidisciplinary team with in-depth knowledge and experience working with strategic projects.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Organizational Development & Design

  • Support the design and implementation of OD interventions focused on culture, structure, change management, and leadership development.

  • Assist in identifying OD needs through audits, surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one stakeholder consultations.

  • Analyze organizational data to draw insights and recommend targeted interventions.

  1. Organizational Diagnostics & Audits

  • Support end-to-end planning and execution of organizational audits, including frameworks, tools, data collection, and synthesis.

  • Conduct HR process maturity assessments and map findings to global best practices.

  • Prepare audit reports with actionable insights and contribute to developing transformation roadmaps.

  1. HR Generalist & Business Partnering

  • Provide HR generalist support across performance management, talent development, employee engagement, and policy implementation.

  • Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to build contextual, scalable HR solutions.

  • Ensure HR systems, processes, and communication reflect OD principles and contribute to a high-performance culture.

  1. Data & Research

  • Gather, interpret, and present data related to employee engagement, DEIB, attrition, and other HR metrics.

  • Support internal research and benchmarking studies on OD themes, HR trends, and progressive workplace practices.

  1. Facilitation & Communication

  • Co-facilitate sessions/workshops on leadership, change, and culture.

  • Contribute to content development for internal capacity-building and awareness programs.

Job Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in HR, OD, Psychology, or a related field.

  • 36 years of experience in HR, with a mix of generalist exposure and experience in OD, L&D, or change management projects.

  • Strong understanding of organizational design, employee engagement, performance management, and HR analytics.

  • Hands-on experience with organizational assessments, diagnostics, or audit frameworks is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools; familiarity with survey platforms is a plus.
