Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Baseline Assessment:

    • Perform an in-depth analysis of the enterprise's current operations.
    • Map end-to-end processes across operations to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop a clear understanding of the enterprise's needs, strengths, and weaknesses related to business operations, supply chain management, and stock management.
      
  2. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Development and Implementation:

    • Collaborate with enterprise managers to review and refine SOPs based on feedback and ensure alignment with operational goals.
    • Finalize SOPs and ensure all team members are informed and prepared for implementation.
      
  3. Grassroots Sales Channel Development:

    • Develop and implement grassroots sales strategies for enterprises.
    • Conduct training sessions on entrepreneurship, sales, communication, and digital marketing.
    • Ensure the effective establishment and management of grassroots sales channels.
      
  4. Training and Capacity Building:

    • Facilitate training sessions for staff, board members, and shareholders based on the enterprise's needs.
    • Provide continuous support to ensure the smooth adoption of SOPs at all organizational levels.
      
  5. Procurement, Go-to-Market Strategy, and Stock Management:

    • Support and strengthen procurement processes and assist in developing a robust go-to-market strategy.
    • Assist in the development of stock management systems for efficient inventory control.
      
  6. Field Engagement:

    • Build strong relationships with members/shareholders of the enterprise.
    • Conduct regular meetings and frequent field visits to ensure the effective implementation of operational strategies.
      

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Rural Management, or a related field.
    • Masters degree (MBA, Rural Management) is a plus.
      
  • Experience:

    • 5 to 7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a similar role, preferably in rural settings.
    • Strong background in team management, supply chain, and stock management.
      

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills in Assamese, English, and Hindi.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
    

Other Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of rural operations and grassroots business processes.
  • Strong command of Assamese (written and spoken) along with fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Willingness to travel within the state and to other locations as required.
