Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Baseline Assessment:
- Perform an in-depth analysis of the enterprise's current operations.
- Map end-to-end processes across operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop a clear understanding of the enterprise's needs, strengths, and weaknesses related to business operations, supply chain management, and stock management.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Development and Implementation:
- Collaborate with enterprise managers to review and refine SOPs based on feedback and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Finalize SOPs and ensure all team members are informed and prepared for implementation.
- Grassroots Sales Channel Development:
- Develop and implement grassroots sales strategies for enterprises.
- Conduct training sessions on entrepreneurship, sales, communication, and digital marketing.
- Ensure the effective establishment and management of grassroots sales channels.
- Training and Capacity Building:
- Facilitate training sessions for staff, board members, and shareholders based on the enterprise's needs.
- Provide continuous support to ensure the smooth adoption of SOPs at all organizational levels.
- Procurement, Go-to-Market Strategy, and Stock Management:
- Support and strengthen procurement processes and assist in developing a robust go-to-market strategy.
- Assist in the development of stock management systems for efficient inventory control.
- Field Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with members/shareholders of the enterprise.
- Conduct regular meetings and frequent field visits to ensure the effective implementation of operational strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Rural Management, or a related field.
- Masters degree (MBA, Rural Management) is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a similar role, preferably in rural settings.
- Strong background in team management, supply chain, and stock management.
Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills in Assamese, English, and Hindi.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Other Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of rural operations and grassroots business processes.
- Strong command of Assamese (written and spoken) along with fluency in English and Hindi.
- Willingness to travel within the state and to other locations as required.
