Position Overview:

The Research Associate/Assistant Manager at EquiLead will play a pivotal role in advancing our research capabilities and supporting our mission to drive gender transformation, womens community development, and workplace inclusivity. This role involves contributing to whitepapers and reports, conducting secondary and primary research, analyzing data, and supporting outreach and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple research projects efficiently. This position is essential for ensuring the accuracy and impact of EquiLeads research outputs and strategic initiatives.

Research:

a. Whitepapers and Reports:

1. Support research work by contributing to the creation of whitepapers, reports, and background research for various projects

2. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of information presented in research outputs

3. Author and publish knowledge content on the EquiLead platform and third-party platforms such as SSIR, Medium, etc

b. Secondary and Primary Research:

1. Identify key stakeholders to interact/collaborate with/ learn from to boost EquiLeads research efforts

2. Conduct extensive secondary research on relevant issues, identifying research relevant to EquiLead interventions of gender transformative OD, womens community development, and enabling more WIL; developing notes/ summarizing findings for internal use and external advocacy.

3. Engage in one-on-one interviews with key stakeholders to gather primary research data

c. Data Analysis and Reporting:

1. Perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis of research findings to derive actionable insights

2. Author comprehensive reports based on data analysis to inform decision-making and advocacy efforts

3. Define and articulate clear evaluation goals and performance metrics aligned with the Equilead ODProgramme

 4. Implement real-time monitoring systems to track the OD Programmes progress and outcomes continuously

5. Develop post-workshop assessments for EquiLead OD Programme and analyze assessment results to identify areas of improvement

Outreach and Partnerships:

a. Strategic Partnership Building:

1. Support leadership with project execution, ensuring seamless operations across various work verticals

2. Contribute to outreach strategies aimed at research and its dissemination at EquiLead

b. Reports and Presentations:

1. Generate reports and presentations derived from data analysis to inform decision-making and advocacy efforts

2. Contribute to the development of compelling materials for stakeholders, demonstrating the impact andvalue of the EquiLead mission and goals
