Job Overview

As the Fundraising Manager, you will spearhead our efforts to secure the necessary funding to drive and expand our charitable programs. This role is designed for a visionary leader skilled in CSR fundraising, capable of forging strong connections and articulating our mission to donors and partners alike.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Fundraising Development: Craft and execute a strategic fundraising plan that aligns with our mission to ensure the sustainability and expansion of our programs.

2. Donor Engagement: Oversee all aspects of donor relations, from identification to stewardship, ensuring robust, trust-based relationships with both existing and potential donors.

3. Grant Management: Direct our grant-seeking processes, from research and proposal writing to compliance and detailed reporting.

4. Database Management: Maintain a comprehensive donor database to ensure accuracy and privacy of data.

5. Communication and Reporting: Develop impactful fundraising materials and maintain regular communication with donors to highlight their contributions impact and our ongoing needs.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Management, Social Sciences, or a related field; significant experience in fundraising or marketing may also be considered.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in fundraising, preferably with expertise in CSR initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and Hindi, with the capability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A deep passion for social impact and a sensitive approach to diverse communities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Mumbai and its surrounding areas as required.
