Purpose of the Role
As the Director of Programs, you will be a key leader in shaping and managing the design, implementation, and monitoring of our organization's initiatives. Reporting to the Founders office, you will play a crucial role in designing program models, overseeing program implementation, and ensuring the quality and impact of programs across multiple states. You will be responsible for developing reports to government entities and donors, managing state leads in each state, and ensuring the accuracy and privacy of program data.

Leadership & Strategy

1. Own Programs at Policy level. Design, Develop and Implement strategic plans.
2. Leadership and direction to the team, ensuring that they are aligned to Organisation goals and objectives.
3. Continuously monitor and evaluate all the projects/ programs performance to ensure they are on track to meet their targets and deliverables.
4. Regular value-added reports/ analytics to the senior leadership & external stakeholders.
5. Identify & track the status of all the programs, milestones, and deliverables.

Program Architecture :
1. Create innovative program models using human-centric design principles.
2. Develop training modules and review systems aligned with organizational objectives.

Operational planning and management
1. Oversee the implementation of policies across states, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals.
2. Collaborate with state-level teams to address challenges and optimize policy execution. 

Government and Donor Reporting:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting to government agencies and donors.
2. Provide accurate and timely updates on program progress, challenges, and outcomes. 

Team Management:
1. Manage and mentor PMU teams in each state, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
2. Facilitate regular communication and coordination among state-level teams.

Monitoring and Evaluation:
1. Oversee the M&E of each of the programs running in states and at central level 

Data Quality and Privacy:
1. Ensure the quality, accuracy, and privacy of program-related data.
2. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive information and uphold data integrity.

Qualification and Skills

  • Full-time post-graduate degree in social sciences, management, or social work from Premier B-School.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in program design, product development, program implementation, and monitoring at a senior level, with 7-8 years of experience in the Social Development Sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities, with experience in government and donor interactions.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing effective program models.
  • Knowledge of data management and privacy regulations.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.
