Title: Finance Manager
Location -Delhi / Bangalore preferred, Remote permissible
5-7 Years of experience
Overview: The successful finance manager shall be detail oriented and able to assist the finance lead with day-to-day financial procedures and internal financial controls.
They shall be managing financial records, recording, updating and reviewing financial data for audits and reviews.

2. Support with internal financial controls and procedures
3. Effective management of databases and budget
Key Activities
1. Managing accounting record keeping systems, and procedures for tracking and reporting, including recommending remedial measures
2. Preparing multiple complex and varied financial reports (including ad hoc reports) that require selection, preparation, and interpretation of data using complex data query tools
3. Understanding and upkeep of various financial compliances and accounts processes, by liaising with the internal team and external finance stakeholders, including accountants, auditors, CA, etc.
4. Process documentation for agreements, contracts, sub grants, work authorizations, and purchase orders as well as monitor performance against contract requirements.
Areas of responsibility
1. Weekly updates and quarterly reports to the Finance Lead
2. Strong relationships with the internal and external team members
3. Effectively implementing new initiatives and managing change
Critical Factors for Success
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (i.e. Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting)
2. 5 -7 years of relevant, full-time work experience, preferably in financial management, budgeting, administration, or nonprofit operations
3. Must be adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and have the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
4. Attention to deadlines particularly with regard to grant compliance and monitoring sub grant and contract relationships
5. Strong process orientation with sensitivity to quality, timelines, and organizational systems
6. Strong writing, database management, and proofreading skills
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to work well in a team
8. Strong computer skills including high level of comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), web-based communications (Skype, Zoom)
9. Budgeting experience with Excel is highly desirable
10. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
11. Willingness to travel to different locations across India, as required
