About Dost Education

Our Mission

Our mission is to unlock every child's full potential by focusing on early learning at home. We believe that parents of any literacy level can play a crucial role in their children's school and life readiness.

Our Model

Dost builds tech, content, and programs that make it easy for parents of any literacy level to boost their childs early development. Our first product was phonecasts 1 minute daily podcasts delivered through a phone call that solve everyday parent problems and nudge them to turn regular moments into Talk, Care, and Play moments. Current programs are for parents with kids aged birth-6 and covers nonviolent parenting, cognitive development, socio-emotional skills, and school preparedness. Since our beta launch in 2015 with 300 families, we have grown to support over 700,000 children through a network of community champions and strategic partnerships with state governments and UNICEF India.

Now, were experimenting with new programs and expanding our reach in response to demand from the Indian Government and families who need more types of support.
