About the job Manager -Business Development

We at Arthan are hiring a Business Development Manager for our partner organization to support its growing needs. The individual in this position will be responsible for driving business development initiatives and managing client relationships for the organization.

The role will require 

1. Grow the business by identifying new business development opportunities through Government Tenders, Private organizations, Private Schools, Grants, and CSR.

2. Set revenue targets, develop, and execute a strategy to meet those.

3. Write and submit techno-commercial parts of tender submissions and proposals.

4. Develop business collaterals and manage social media for business purposes.

5. Identify key contacts at potential client companies to establish and foster a relationship.

6. Meet potential clients and make presentations to explain services to guide their choices.

7. Understand the problems and challenges of clients and identify ways the business could better address those needs.

8. Seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell to existing clients.

9. Maintain good relationships with clients so that the business can maximize the value of those relationships.

10. Monitor and assess the activities of our competitors to proactively satisfy and retain our clients.

11. Resolve any customer complaints promptly and professionally.

12. Develop and manage a database of existing and potential clients.

Qualification and Experience

1. A Masters degree in business, marketing, management, or a related field from reputed institutes.

2. 5+ years of proven experience in Government and Private Institutional Sales.

3. Knowledge of Corporate CSR spending and successful handling of government tenders.

4. Willingness to develop an in-depth understanding of the business and related services.

5. Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.

6. Excellent interpersonal skills and attitude and put team goals first.

7. Ability to build, foster, and maintain positive professional relationships.

8. Devotion to high-quality customer service.

9. Keen analytical, problem solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.

10. Strong professional qualities viz leadership skills, organizational mindset, and creative thinking.

11. Strong social media skills across platforms.

12. Should be able to handle Business Development functions independently.

13. Strong computer skills and well-versed in Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

Additional experience

Prior experience with the social Sector in the field of Education EdTech companies, Education Content players, and Assessment and Ed training companies will be a plus.
