Job Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Communication Lead/Manager to join our team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience, preferably with a background in non-profit organizations or media firms that have dealt with NPOs. This role requires a strong understanding of modern communication trends and technology, along with an outcome-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Communication Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
Craft compelling narratives and messaging for various audiences, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Media Relations:
Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials.
- Content Creation & Design:
Lead the creation of engaging content for digital and traditional platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, and reports.
Monitor and analyze content performance to optimize future communications.
Design concept notes, pitch decks, and social media outreach strategies for events.
- Event Management:
Organize and oversee events, including press conferences and promotional activities, to enhance the organization’s visibility.
Plan and execute virtual events and webinars, ensuring seamless engagement and technical support.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication of initiatives and programs.
- Trend Analysis and Technology Integration:
Stay abreast of new communication trends and technologies, integrating them into communication strategies.
Utilize data analytics to measure the impact of communication efforts and make informed adjustments.
Possess knowledge of tools such as Canva, Zoho, MailerLite, WordPress, Zoom, and any other relevant communication tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
5-12 years of relevant experience in communication, preferably in a non-profit or media environment.
Strong understanding of current communication trends and technology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage projects and lead a team effectively.
Outcome-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
