Position: Senior Consultant / Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Are you a visionary leader with a deep passion for child rights and welfare?

Join our partner organization as their Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) to shape the blueprint and strategy for their upcoming assisted living centre for children in need of care and protection in the Greater Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

As the Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Neemar program, you will play a pivotal role in defining the holistic care and learning journey of children at our centre. You will be responsible for the overall design of the multi-tiered after-school residential program; ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality experience that empowers children from vulnerable backgrounds to achieve their full potential.

Your Role:

(I) Operations Protocol and Stakeholder Management

- Design SOPs for building a secure environment for children, aligning with government regulations and guidelines

- Develop financial models and program policies for resident children's physical, emotional, and educational needs

- Define roles for the interdisciplinary team and foster collaborations with government agencies and partners

(II) Program Development and Processes

- Design holistic programs focusing on well-being, education, and skill development

- Integrate after-school educational support, sports & arts-based learning, and recreational activities into daily program routine

- Harness cutting-edge delivery methods, including tech tools, to craft programs that are effective and highly efficient

- Outline program outcomes and establish data-gathering frameworks

(III) Communication and Outreach

- Build authentic relationships with stakeholders, garnering support for the centre's mission

- Represent the foundation at forums and events, advocating for the rights and well-being of children

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or education and 7+ years of relevant leadership experience in the domain of child rights and/or assisted living for children

- Proven track record leading teams in dynamic environments

- Strong understanding of education and mental health concerns, committed to innovative approaches

- Deep understanding of laws concerning children in need of care & protection, business strategy, and partnership development

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
