Role Description
As the Organisational Development Lead, your key responsibilities will include the following:
1. Scale our OD Vertical
Identify market opportunities, design service offerings, and build scalable OD solutions.
Lead the end-to-end execution of OD engagements, from needs assessment and design to delivery and impact measurement.
Ensure operational and financial sustainability of the vertical while staying aligned with Arthans mission.
Build and lead a lean team to manage multiple OD projects across sectors.
2. Lead Client-Facing OD Projects
Own and execute OD mandates for clients across domains such as strategy, culture, governance, org design, leadership development, and change management.
Conduct diagnostics, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to co-create context-specific solutions.
Provide ongoing advisory and support to client leadership teams during periods of transition, scale, or transformation.
Embed equity and inclusion principlesparticularly gender equityinto OD frameworks and practices.
3. Strategic Client Engagement and Business Development
Cultivate and manage relationships with senior leaders in the development and philanthropic ecosystem.
Scope and close new OD mandates in collaboration with Arthans partnerships team.
Ensure client satisfaction, quality assurance, and long-term value delivery across engagements.
4. Thought Leadership and Practice Development
Represent Arthan in sector forums, workshops, and roundtables on organizational development.
Contribute to publications, tools, and case studies that build knowledge and position Arthan as a sector leader in OD.
Stay ahead of trends in OD, people systems, and social sector strategy to inform practice and innovation.
Key Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years in organizational development, business strategy, operations, with a strong track record of collaborating with leadership to drive operational improvements and enhance organizational effectiveness. Experience in the social impact or consulting sectors is a plus.
Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to design and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, drive growth, and scale organizational practices in alignment with long-term goals.
Operational Acumen: Expertise in building systems and processes, including project management frameworks, OKRs, and operational workflows.
Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals, while maintaining operational efficiency and collaborative teamwork.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management and presenting complex concepts to leadership.
