Role Overview:

One of our partner organization is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Content Writer to work closely with the Chairperson. This role is ideal for a professional with 12-15 years of experience in crafting impactful and engaging content across a variety of formats. 

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. The position demands expertise in creating content for multiple platforms, including articles, op-eds, blogs, speeches, social media, and publications in books, media, and journals. This proactive individual will engage regularly with the Chairperson, assisting in the creation of high-quality, mission-aligned content that amplifies the organizations voice and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Strategy

  • Develop high-quality content for speeches, articles, op-eds, reports, blogs, and social media that reflects the Chairperson's voice and resonates with global audiences.
  • Craft strategic narratives for media platforms and publications, ensuring alignment with organizational values and mission.
  • Write engaging, platform-specific social media content to enhance digital presence and engagement.

Research and Thought Leadership

  • Conduct in-depth research on global and national issues relevant to the Chairpersons work and priorities.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, debates, and narratives to support thought leadership initiatives.
  • Synthesize complex information into accessible, persuasive, and impactful content.

Collaboration and Amplification

  • Work closely with the offices of global leaders to amplify the Chairpersons thoughts at key forums.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in messaging and tone across all platforms.Support the development of presentations, proposals, and other communications materials.

Documentation and Organization

  • Maintain organized records of all research materials, drafts, and published content.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar to ensure timely delivery of all materials.

Editing and Quality Control

  • Proofread and edit content to uphold the highest standards of quality and clarity.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all written materials while maintaining the Chairpersons unique voice.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • Masters degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 12-15 years of experience in content creation across diverse formats and platforms.
  • Proven experience writing for public figures, thought leaders, and high-stakes environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft content that resonates with international and high-profile audiences.
