Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager/Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for spearheading operational and strategic efforts of the partnerships and growth vertical at Arthan.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and expanding our presence in the social impact and sustainability sector in Southeast Asia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business development initiatives that align with our firms goals and values.
Team Overview
The Manager/Assistant Manager will get the chance to work with a team consisting of a diverse mix of professionals with varied skill sets and competencies relevant to the impact sector. The team brings substantial experience working with multiple national and international organizations. We are a multidisciplinary team with in-depth knowledge and experience in working with strategic projects. We have a successful track record of delivering large and complex engagements and have worked in strategic management, business and organizational development, and human resources in different capacities.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges in the social impact sector. Analyze market dynamics, competitor strategies, and client needs to inform business development strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base.
- Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the social impact sector.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and objectives. Collaborate with clients to understand their HR challenges and provide tailored solutions that add value to their organizations.
- Proposal Development: Prepare high-quality proposals, presentations, and other materials to effectively communicate our services and value proposition to clients.
- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new business opportunities.
- Networking and Outreach: Represent Arthan at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to increase visibility and build partnerships within the social impact sector. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, foundations, social enterprises, and government agencies.
- Team Collaboration and Management: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including consultants, recruiters, and project managers, to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction. Provide insights and feedback to support continuous improvement of our services and offerings.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Masters degree is a plus.
- 3- years of proven work experience in a client-facing role including business development, fundraising, or related roles preferably in the social impact or allied space
- Strong understanding of the social impact sector in India, including key players, trends, and challenges.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business development strategies.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
