Its flagship digital health solution, the Community Health Integrated Platform (CHIP), has been utilized by over 70,000 community health workers and 40,000 villages, reaching 45 million beneficiaries. Among these, over 5 million individuals have been identified with high-risk health conditions and have had their health monitored at the grassroots level. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has allocated over 160 crore rupees (20 million USD) to support the platform's scale-up.

What they require:

  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably in healthcare or digital health.
  • Expertise in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.).
  • Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, UX research methodologies, and responsive design.
  • Proficiency in frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
  • Passionate about healthcare innovation and enhancing health worker experiences (ASHA, ANM, etc.) through technology.
  • Portfolio showcasing advanced UI/UX design work, including wireframes, prototypes, and polished products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth user research to understand the needs and behaviors of target audiences, including community health workers and beneficiaries.

  • Develop detailed user personas to guide design strategies and ensure alignment with user needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create intuitive designs for web and mobile applications.

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, iterating designs based on feedback and usability testing results.

  • Implement frontend design elements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS for seamless integration.

  • Develop user flows and interfaces to enhance usability and improve the CHIP applications overall experience.

  • Design marketing materials, posters, banners, and presentations aligned with organizational branding.

  • Integrate UI animations and visual elements to enhance user engagement and create dynamic experiences.

  • Conduct usability testing with stakeholders and end-users, iterating designs based on insights and findings.

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and field health workers to ensure design consistency and gather feedback.

  • Contribute to the product roadmap by prioritizing design initiatives aligned with business goals.

  • Stay updated on UI/UX, digital health, and healthcare technology trends to continuously improve design solutions.
  • Collaborate on video content for training, promotional campaigns, and project updates, maintaining branding and storytelling excellence.
