We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Manager for Public Health & Nutrition Services. The successful candidate will report to the Sector Head of Health & Nutrition and will be responsible for providing technical assistance and leadership in designing, implementing, and scaling health and nutrition programs across various districts.

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

About the Organization

The organization is a prominent social arm of a leading group, dedicated to implementing multiple health and nutrition programs across 15 states in India. They focus on preventive health, providing curative services, enhancing health facilities, and promoting behavior change strategies in identified villages. Their programs are executed in close coordination with state governments, local partners, and academic institutes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to the team at various locations for designing and implementing health programs tailored to local settings.
  • Program Analysis & Monitoring: Support the team in analyzing, monitoring, and strengthening health programs.
  • Coordination & Support: Assist in coordinating and supporting the implementation of health and nutrition programs.
  • Partner Support: Collaborate with partners to achieve program results and support program upscaling.
  • Replication of Results: Aid the location team in replicating successful program outcomes in coordination with government entities.
  • Government Advocacy: Advocate with government bodies to leverage resources and upscale proven results.
  • Planning & Reporting: Assist the team in preparing long-term action plans, ensuring effective budget utilization, and providing timely reports.
  • Partnership Management: Manage partnerships and disseminate program results at the state or national level.

Qualifications:

  • Post-graduation in public health, community medicine, medicine, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in public health, with experience in implementing large-scale public health programs.
  • Knowledge of public health systems and medical education.
  • Experience working with big foundations or national/international organizations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, presentation skills, report writing, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to relocate and travel to field locations as required.
