About the job Product Manager
The Role:
As a Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Organization. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from defining the product vision and roadmap to execution, launch, and iteration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams internally (designers, developers, policy advocates, partnerships and marketing) and with samaaj (civil society organizations), sarkaar (governments) and bazaar (private sector organisations) to co-create products ensure that deliver a seamless and impactful experience for our actors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision and Strategy:
- Develop a clear and compelling product vision and roadmap aligned with Organizations mission and user needs.
- Conduct market and user research to understand user pain points and opportunities.
- Define product requirements, features, and prioritize the product backlog using Agile methodologies.
- Communicate the product vision and strategy effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
Product Design and Development:
- Work closely with designers, developers, knowledge partners and practitioners to translate the product vision into a user-friendly and functional product.
- Manage the product development process.
- Conduct user testing and iterate on the product based on user feedback and data.
- Document product requirements and specifications for internal and external use.
Product Launch, Evangelism, and Evolution:
- Lead the growth and adoption of the product.
- Develop and execute product launch plans, including training materials, demos, and communication strategies.
- Engage with external stakeholders and audiences through webinars and forums.
- Track and monitor product performance using key metrics to measure success.
- Contribute to the ongoing promotion and evangelization of the product through internal and external channels.
- Collaborate on blog posts, white papers, and case studies showcasing organizations impact.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to co-create products
- Build a community of contributors and volunteers who can rally around the product you create and provide feedback, fill knowledge gaps, build on it, etc.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the product team, across departments and with external partners.
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in product management where you have demonstrated taking a product from an idea and to a meaningful scale.
- You have experience in different aspects of product development and management from problem discovery to design, development and launch.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in user research methodologies and product prioritization frameworks.
- Experience with prototyping tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
