Function- 

Resource Mobilisation covers Institutional Partnerships, Corporate Partnerships, New Business Development and Individual Giving. The function raises restricted and unrestricted funds for the organisation, in accordance with SC/Indias strategic priorities. Individual Fundraising is a part of Resource Mobilisation department and works towards achieving the organisations goal by gathering voluntary contributions from individuals. This
contribution comes through various mediums such as direct acquisition, TV ads , digital , social media promotions, retentions etc. IG function is committed towards bringing in more and more funds to support our programmes and maintain a great donor relationship.

Role Purpose-

Acquisition Lead is accountable for achieving budgeted income and increased net margins by owning donor acquisition through all acquisition channels. Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.

Role and responsibilities:

- Develop annual income and expense plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
- Taking ownership of implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis, manage multiple channel income strategies.
- Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
- This position is directly responsible for leading managers of the division and indirectly responsible for all employees within the division.
- Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth
- Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
- Define fundraising/sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Should be familiar with database software LMS etc and skill to use and analysis the backend information.
- Previous experience to work for social sector fundraising via channels like F2F, telemarketing, new business development etc

Candidate specification:

Experience

Essential- 

Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in a relevant discipline such as business acquisition, sales/marketing/fundraising with more than 7 years of leadership / management experience in a relevant industry.

Desirable-

Experience in both profit and non-profit sector would be an asset.

- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process, with particular experience using Salesforce
- Highly organized and result oriented senior leader, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once.
- Self-motivated, mentally strong leader with an ability to inspire team members and keep the team together
