About the organisation:
Non-profit organisation which uses rights based approaches and focuses on building an understanding of rights and entitlements among women and girls belonging to marginalised communities. In the process, the organisation builds their voice and enhances their political capabilities to demand for their rights and entitlements.

Functional Details:
Strategy and Planning
Setting the strategy and direction for the programs and the thematic areas with the Assistant Director
Oversee the quality and timeliness of the different projects and guide project teams as and when needed
Conduct a quarterly assessment on the progress vis a vis indicators, lessons learned and challenges
Report directly to the Board members and act as the bridge between the Board and the program team
Fundraising and Resource Mobilization
Set the direction and strategy and writing proposals and budget formulation with the Assistant Director and Program Manager
Maintaining existing and new donor relationships
Represent organization in all donor meetings and funders visits
Prepare for funder reports and funder visits as and when required
Team Management
Providing supportive supervision to the Assistant Director, Programme Manager and the team on a regular basis
Conduct interviews for new staff and carry out staff appraisals
Organize and participate in the Steering Committee Meeting and Ensure that the organizational values are maintained among all staff.
Organizational level functions:
Maintain statutory compliance of the organization
Approve expenditures to any individual, company or establishment through signature on quotations produced or contracts
At State/National Level
Building relationships with iNGOs and other issue based networks.
Prepare research reports and policy briefs
Developing advocacy plans to increase organization's access and influence on selected institutions to inform and influence SRHR policy development and implementation
Liaise with officials of the MoHFW and other relevant stakeholders; maintain relationships with all key allies (networks, CSOs, researchers etc)
