Job Overview:

We are looking for an energetic MBA with a deep interest in technology and governance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for our Health Mission. In this role, you will work closely with all other members of the health mission team and report to the Director of the health Mission. The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized, and able to work with multiple internal stakeholders and teams to align them toward meeting Mission goals and plans. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal teams effectively.

About the Health Mission: 

The first focus is to help countries reduce diseases of poverty. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that such diseases account for 45% of the disease burden in the poorest countries and stem from poor nutrition and sanitation, absence of health education, and indoor air pollution. We want to help countries reduce this by creating a platform for disease surveillance and building digital tools to enable and manage large-scale public health campaigns. The other focus area is to improve trust in health transactions through the power of verifiable certificates. 

Responsibilities:

  • Buy into the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals, objectives, and key results.
  • Ensure progress across teams towards the Missions annual operating plan, periodic Cadences/Governance, Flag deviations, and roadblocks. Need to set up a regular cadence to track progress against the plan, as well as manage risks and their related mitigation.
  • Program management of workshops, webinars, and hackathons for partner training and enablement.
  • Landscape Research, Pitch Decks, work with Marcomms for building visibility.
  • Support Mission team members, Dashboard, and Data Story Factbook updates, data as exhaust to facilitate M&E.
  • Grant management follow-up on grant deliverables, and timely submission of grant reports.
  • Fund management setting up processes to provide timely fund visibility to all key internal stakeholders for timely action.
  • Assist with drafting business plans, pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • MBA, preferably from a Tier 2 business school
  • 2 to 4 years of overall experience in technology/product organization in a similar role 
  • Analytical Thinking & Good communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work experience in a startup will be preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software productivity tools.
