About the Role
Equilead is looking for a creative and strategic Sr. Project Manager; they will be managing all aspects of programs and initiatives undertaken such as webinars and conferences. This role involves developing proposals, fostering partnerships, and implementing innovative strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong data analysis and report-writing skills, dedicated to driving gender equity in leadership within the social impact sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of researchers, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
- Oversee end-to-end management of EquiLead's programs and initiatives, including webinars, conferences, capacity-building programs, and partnerships with foundations.
- Develop and build compelling proposals to secure funding and partnerships.
- Act as an idea generator and doer, bringing innovative solutions to drive the organization's mission.
- Strategize and experiment with new approaches to enhance program effectiveness.
- Collect and analyze data to measure program outcomes and prepare detailed reports.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally with an education background in gender studies/cultural studies/sociology or a relevant degree.
Proven experience in managing teams and leading projects.
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to innovate and experiment.
Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
Proficient in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
Ability to build and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
Passionate about gender equity and social impact.
