Position: Marketing Manager - Indian Mangoes
The Foundation is committed to enhancing the market presence of Indian mangoes both
domestically and internationally through its work with Farmer Producer Companies in Ratnagiri.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Expert to drive the growth and visibility of Indian
mangoes. The ideal candidate will develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to
boost sales and market share, focusing on both domestic and export markets
Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Strategy Development: Developing and implementing both domestic and export marketing strategies. This involves setting clear cut targets, defining target markets and strategies to engage with market players on long term basis. Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote Indian mangoes, including digital marketing, advertising, and public relations.
  • Implementation: Direct interface between farmer producer company and buyers (domestic and international)
  • Brand Management: Develop and maintain a strong brand presence, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms. Ensure all marketing communications reflect the brands values and positioning accurately.
  • Sales Enhancement: Work with the Farmer Producer Companies/Farmers for direct and export sales. Also to design promotional campaigns and trade offers that drive the sales and increase market penetration.
  • Export Focus: Develop strategies to enter and expand in international markets, including identifying target regions, regulatory requirements, and distribution channels.
  • Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and industry stakeholders to strengthen market presence.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Educational requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing, preferably in the agricultural or food industry/ Indian mangoes
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies for both domestic and international markets.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian mango industry and all export processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
