About the job Senior Manager - Advocacy and Narrative

The Senior Manager of Advocacy and Narrative Building is a newly created role within the organisation. The role delivers thought leadership and impact through identifying high impact areas aligned with the mission of the organisation, and then actively drives the advocacy efforts to advance them. The role seeks to deliver results that reflect the foundations work among a diverse set of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

(I) Advocacy and Narrative building:

Strategy Development: Develop and implement advocacy strategies and narrative framework that amplifies the organisation's initiatives, capture program and success stories

Campaigns and content: Plan, execute and evaluate campaigns that increase awareness and engagement. Oversee the development of high-quality content material

(II) Strategy and Partner Relations:

Stakeholder Engagement: Form strong alliances and partnerships with key stakeholders such as NGOs, government agencies, etc. to drive thought leadership in the impact space

Media outreach: Engage people and build relationships with them by developing various strategies, ensuring visibility and coverage for the foundations initiatives and events across various platforms

(III) Performance analysis:

Use data-driven metrics to assess the impact of advocacy and communication efforts and maintain insightful reports for internal team and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Education qualification in communications, journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or related field. Masters level qualification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of full-time experience in campaign building and communication in the social impact sector.
  • Entrepreneurial and learning mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Vernacular skills an added advantage.
  • Exceptional writing skills, familiarity with social media, digital communication tools and design software
