Position: Senior Lead - HR Transformation (Data & HRMS)
Location: New Delhi
Reports to: Global Director- HR
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end data management (collection to analytics) and HRMS implementation (procurement to deployment). This role will also oversee HRIS, HRMS, HR data & MIS, HR dashboards and HR analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. The role requires strong expertise in HR data collection & management, HRMS deployment, HR technology, HR analytics, and strategic workforce planning tailored to the unique challenges of the NGO sector in India.
What will you do in this role:
1. HRMS Procurement & Implementation
- Lead the end-to-end process of HRMS & ATS research, comparison, selection, procurement, and implementation.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, finance, Leadership teams and vendors to define HRM system requirements & ensure alignment.
- Drive new HRMS system integration with existing SOPs and inter-dependencies, user training, and adoption across the organization.
- Ensure data migration, system security, and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Ensure seamless integration with finance, payroll ad compliance management protocols & systems.
- Vendor management for all types of trouble shooting, contracting, post sales service efficacy and payments.
- Ensure HRMS & ATS remain up to date as per technological advancement and organizations needs.
- Lead all user trainings, team trainings, creation & dissemination of SOPs and resources for maximum utilization of all HR processes.
2. HR Data Management, HR MIS, Dashboards and analytics
- Establish and maintain accurate, secure, and efficient HR data & metrics for all HR functions & complete employee
lifecycle both in office & field roles. - Oversee HRs internal MIS practices & techniques, to ensure timely and accurate reporting of HR KPIs and metrics for all
stakeholders (internal & external as needed). - Standardize HRs data governance frameworks and ensure data integrity across HR systems.
- Develop and manage HR MIS and dashboards for real-time HR & workforce insights for all HR processes and initiatives.
- Utilize HR analytics to track & report key HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, productivity, DEI, growth, and
acquisition. - Recommend improvements in data collection & reporting. Support HR teams & other teams to enable robust data
collection & reporting across all HR systems & sub systems. - Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across HR functions (acquisition, employee experience, DEI) to organisation's Leadership team.
- Drive predictive analytics initiatives to enhance workforce planning, growth needs, evolving statutory needs and
organizational outcomes.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with HR, IT, and thematic leaders to ensure seamless implementation and optimization of HRMS.
- Engage with external vendors, consultants, and service providers for continuous system improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert for HR systems and analytics, guiding teams on best practices.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure HR systems comply with labor laws and data privacy regulations.
- Monitor and mitigate risks related to HR technology, data breaches, and system failures. Collaborate with IT, Finance,
Admin & HR teams for risk mitigation. - Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain HR system efficiency and security.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Is excited by the prospect of delivering contextual technology & data support to HR teams in field operations, offices and a variety of social development programs, departments & locations.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Experience of at least 10 years in HR with at least 6 years of focussed experienced in HRMS implementation, HR data
management and HR analytics. - Hands-on experience in HRMS implementation in a medium to large organization, vendor management, and system
integrations. - Strong analytical skills with expertise in HR dashboards, predictive analytics, and workforce planning.
- Strong Knowledge of HR processes and HR best practices in NGOs.
- Working knowledge of Indian labour compliance norms and HRIS/HRMS best practices.
- Proficiency in using Excel.
- Proficiency in HRIS and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent listening skills, English reading - writing skills, negotiation skills, mathematical aptitude, critical thinking and an optimistic problem-solving mindset. - Experience in data management & analytics in HR.
- Sound knowledge of Indias social sectors HR norms & constraints. Your previous dev-sector experience will be a fuel and a plus to your success in this role.
